Few Words from the Secretary

Samarendra Dixit

Secretary, PRACHIYSO

Prachi Youth Social Organisation (Prachi YSO) is committed to bringing the voices of women and youth to the forefront. This year we have worked to empower adolescent girls who had been either trafficked or sexually abused at home.

Prachi YSO has continually worked toward enhancing household-level skills by linking youth to institutions providing computer education and home nursing training for the rural poor, alongside strengthening community-based institutions for micro-level livelihood planning.

I was honoured to present Prachi YSO's initiatives and strategic direction alongside our Board members. We draw great strength from the support of our well-wishers and mentors, and remain committed to amplifying the voices of the downtrodden. We look forward to building our training and capacity-building work to serve thousands more youth and women across Odisha.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported us, financially and otherwise — especially the executive committee, whose continuous support has been invaluable. The seed sown a few years ago has now flowered into a tree, giving shade and bearing fruit, and the organisation stands ready to serve the community in an even better way.
